My role in EPOCA arctic
As a scientific diver I will be part of the diving team to supply the organisms needed for the experiments. In the context of my diploma thesis I will also be part of an experiment dealing with the effects of ocean acidification and increase of temperature on Serripes groenlandicus (study 4).
My thoughts about the trip
I visited Ny-Alesund last August for only one week and immediately was under its spell. So I am looking forward to being there for 3.5 months and also discovering the arctic underwater world. I hope everything will work well in these 24-hour days.
